Newfoundland

Newfoundlands are described as sweet, patient, and devoted dogs who are categorized in the working group of dog breeds. They come in a variety of colors including gray, brown, black, and a black-and-white coat. Newfoundland’s are known to shed a lot and need to be groomed in order to keep their coat nice and neat. They are considered a large dog breed with a height ranging from 28 inches for the males, and 26 inches for the females. They have an average weight of 130-150 pounds for the males, and 100-120 pounds for the females. Their life expectancy is 9-10 years.
