Poodle

Poodles are active, proud, and very smart dogs who are categorized in the non-sporting group. They come in a large variety of colors consisting of apricot, black, blue, brown, cafe au lait, cream, gray, red, silver, silver beige, and white. Poodles are not known to shed because they have hair rather than fur, like many other breeds. They come in three size varieties: Standards should be more than 15 inches tall at the shoulder; Miniatures are 15 inches or under; Toys stand no more than 10 inches. The average weight for this breed is 60-70 pounds for the males and 40-50 pounds for the females. Their life expectancy is 10-18 years.
